Selectmen forming Police Cruiser Purchase Study Committee

In March of this year town voters passed Warrant Article # 13 to establish a committee to study the best way to fund police cruisers on an ongoing basis. As the town’s budget season approaches the selectmen are looking to form the committee to recommend the best way to fund police cruisers. 

The selectmen would like to appoint 3 citizen at large members to meet along with a select board member and a police commissioner.

The Town is also seeking volunteers to fill vacancies on the following board, commission, or committee:

Budget Committee (2 members)

Cable Advisory Committee (2 to 4 members)

Economic Development Committee (3 members)

Recreation Commission (1 member)

Recycling Committee (2 members)

Zoning Board of Adjustment (1 member and up to 3 Alternate members)

It is encouraged that interested individuals attend at least one meeting prior to submitting an application. Applications may be provided to the board, commission, or committee for review and recommendation. All appointments are then made by the Board of Selectmen.
