Minutes of February 3, 2009

Present were Lucy Edwards, Ken Curley, Renee Camille and Ken Camille.

Meeting was called to order at 6:05 pm by Chairperson Lucy Edwards. The minutes of the 01/06/09 meeting were corrected and approved.

REPORTS
LRPA – Mr. Curley said he was not able to attend January meeting due to a conflict in schedule.  Ms. Camille asked what being on the LRPA Board of Directors involved. Mr. Curley said the Directors were involved in creating the budget and setting policies. Ms. Camille said she would be willing to fill-in for Mr. Curley at times when he could not attend. Mr. Curley said it would have to be approved by the Selectmen and that he would email a copy of the LRPA minutes so she could read what went on at the meetings.

Board of Selectmen liaison – Selectman Curley said there were no cable issues brought before the Board of Selectmen.

Cable Coordinator Report
Mr. Garnett was not able to attend the meeting.  Ms. Edwards said the meeting will proceed to Old Business items on the agenda.

OLD BUSINESS
Training new people – Ms. Edwards stated that training new people will take place after the Camilles are trained on the two systems.

Cable Contract renewal subcommittee – It was agreed that the committee will advise the Selectmen to appoint a cable contract renewal subcommittee after Town Meeting.

NEW BUSINESS
Video Streaming – The committee discussed the viability of streaming video on the website. It was felt that it currently could not be implemented due to lack of resources. When appropriate resources become available this issue will be revisited.

The next scheduled meeting is on Tuesday March 3rd, 2009 at 6 pm at the Town Hall.
