Stormwater runoff results from rainfall and/or snow melt which runs across surfaces which water can not penetrate (roofs, driveways, patios etc.) rather than absorbing into the ground.

Stormwater management is the management or control of stormwater runoff for the purposes of reducing flooding, downstream erosion and water quality degradation.

TTG Environmental Consultants have prepared a report prescribing the best ways the Town of Northwood can minimize the impact of stormwater runoff. You are welcome to attend a presentation of a draft of this report to Northwood Planning Board meeting at 7:00 PM – 8:00 PM, November 13th, 2008 at the Northwood Town Hall.
