What do we know about our local forest? What makes the trees and plants special? Who lives in the forest canopy, inside a tree, on the forest floor or in a rotting log? How do they survive there? Children will discover the answers to these questions as they explore our local woods. The professional environmental educators of Amoskeag Fishways will be coming to our wood, Meadows State Park. Grades 4 - 8 will run from 9:00 - 11:00 AM and Kindergarden - 3rd grade will run from 1:00 - 2:30 PM. Cost is $3.00 per child and parents are encouraged to join in. See you there.
