Minutes of August 2, 2007

Present were members Donna Bunker, Chair Lucy Edwards, BOS Liaison Ken Curley and Coordinator Gary Garnett.

The meeting was called to order at 7:00 p.m. at Town Hall by Chairperson Edwards.
The committee voted to approve the 05/07/07 and 06/06/07 minutes.

REPORTS:
LRPA - Mr. Curley said the proposed contract by LRPA was in the process of being revised, he will keep them updated on the changes.

BOS Liaison Report – Mr. Curley discussed the proposed document request procedure which will include definition on how to distribute the DVDs.

Cable Coordinator Report – Mr. Garnett the Northwood Historic is a work in progress and is in the production phase. He stated he videotaped the presentation on the history of Pleasant Lake which should air next month. The garden tour taping is in the process of being edited. Mr. Garnett went over the list of equipment that he will be proposing to the Board of Selectmen for installation in the Town Hall to speed up production of the Selectmen meeting DVDs.  He also stated he will be taping the School Board meeting being held at the SAU office.

OLD BUSINESS:
Bulletin Board Policy
It was agreed that rather than creating a new bulletin board policy the members of the committee will edit the existing policy to contain the types of messages currently being aired. This will be reviewed next meeting.
Date Display
Mr. Garnett said he attempted to placing an overlay of the date while he was producing one of the meetings and it considerably extended the processing time. He will look into other methods.

NEW BUSINESS:
Mr. Curley conveyed a request made by Road Agent Jim Wilson to have the Cable Coordinator make a videotape of the rebuilding of Bennetts Bridge for archiving by the Town. This was recommended by FEMA when plans for the reconstruction were being discussed. Mr. Garnett said to have Mr. Wilson call him on the days he wants it recorded. 

The next meeting will be held at Town Hall on Thursday, Sept. 6th, at 7 p.m.

The meeting adjourned at 8:15 p.m.
