The Northwood Recreation Department and Recreation Commission have been working hard to provide the people of Northwood with enjoyable, affordable classes and events for people of all ages in the community.  The next event that we will enjoy is an Ice Fishing Derby.

Join us on Saturday, January 26th at Harvey Lake.  The derby will take place from 8:00AM to noon.  Children 15 and younger do not need a fishing license.  Adults are welcome to fish, but must be licensed to fish in the State of New Hampshire.  Please bring your ice fishing gear.  If you are not an avid ice fisherman, please join us anyway.  The Recreation Department will be providing some tip-ups and bait for those who would like to try something new.  This is a free event and prizes will be given to children 15 and younger
