Magician Peter Boie will be visiting Northwood on Tuesday, August 14 at 7:00pm, at the Northwood Masonic Hall, to help us celebrate the finale of this year’s Summer Reading Program! This fabulous magic show is free and open to everyone. For more information about the show please call the library at 942-5472!
Peter’s performance is a mix of magic choreographed to music, audience participation, and comedy. When Peter was 11 years old he found his first magic book at his local library, it forever changed his life; now he travels the country performing his art. He tells this story in every library performance to inspire passion in whatever your interest is, and the library is the best place to learn about what you love. In the performance Peter talks about the places he’s visited around the country and magic he’s learned from different parts of the country and magicians from those parts as well.
Join us on Tuesday, August 14 at 7:00pm to be dazzled by Peter and his magic! Peter is sponsored in part by a grant from the New Hampshire State Council on the Arts, the New Hampshire State Library and donations from the Byrne Foundation, CHILIS, and the Cogswell Benevolent Trust. |
