Minutes of March 16, 2006
Present: Pat Adams, Donna Bunker, Ken Curley, Gary Garnett. Lucy Edwards was unable to attend. The meeting was called to order at 6:41 p.m. The January 30, 2006 minutes were reviewed and approved. Old Business: Candidate’s Night on February 28 and School District Meeting on March 4 were taped and submitted to Lakes Region Public Access. Lakes Region Public Access was not able to grant Ken Curley’s request for a regular Northwood time slot. LRPA intends to post scheduling information on their web site within a month; the Cable Advisory Committee could access this information and post it in the appropriate locations for Northwood residents to see. Ken Curley moved that we submit Lucy Edwards’ name for appointment to the Cable Advisory Committee. Donna Bunker seconded the motion. The motion passed unanimously. New Business: Upcoming events to tape: Town Meeting – Coe-Brown Northwood Academy – Saturday, March 18 Historic Northwood: Past, Present, and Future – Town Hall – Wednesday, March 22 Historic Northwood: Past, Present, and Future – Town Hall – Wednesday, April 19 Gary Garnett is working on a video montage of local historical sites to show at the Historic Northwood programs. Gary Garnett would like to schedule a training course on “Video Production Basics” for Coe- Brown sophomores. He will contact Wini Young regarding community service hours for students attending the course. Unfinished Business: The Cable Advisory Committee reviewed the Town of Northwood Cable Bulletin Board Policy. The committee will request to be put on the Board of Selectmen’s agenda for one of their April meetings to discuss the policy. The next meeting will be held at the Chesley Memorial Library on Thursday, April 20, at 6:30 p.m. The meeting adjourned at 7:45 p.m. Minutes approved April 20, 2006. |
