Minutes of January 30, 2006

Present were Donna Bunker, Ken Curley, Lucy Edwards, Cable Coordinator Gary Garnett.
Pat Adams was unable to attend.

The meeting was called to order at 6:35 p.m.
The November 17, 2005 minutes were reviewed and approved.

Old Business: Ken Curley and Gary Garnett updated the committee on the November 22 meeting with the Board of Selectmen and equipment at town hall. The committee eviewed the school installation package needed for taping school board meetings.

New Business: Upcoming events were discussed. It was decided that the taping schedule include the following events:
   Candidates Night at Coe-Brown on Tuesday, February 28
   School District Meeting at Northwood School on Saturday, March 4
   Town Meeting at Coe-Brown on Saturday, March 18
   Community Resources Committee’s history program in March

The committee discussed the scheduling conflicts on the bulletin board channel and the need for Northwood to have its own time slots with both day and evening times. Ken Curley will bring these issues up at the next LRPA Board meeting.

The Board of Selectmen current bulletin board policy will be forwarded for review at the next meeting. Ken Curley learned in researching other policies that the local library often serves as the administration site for bulletin boards. The committee discussed the potential posting of school events on the bulletin board.

Gary Garnett will submit a proposal for the purchase of a cabinet at town hall to store his equipment.

Unfinished Business: Ken Curley will contact Steve Murdough regarding cable access on Winding Hill Road.

The next meeting will be held at the Chesley Memorial Library on Thursday, February 16, at 6:30 p.m.

The meeting adjourned at 7:30 p.m.

The February meeting was rescheduling conflicts to March 16.
