The Chesley Memorial Library in Northwood and the Blaisdell Memorial Library in Nottingham received a grant from the New Hampshire Humanities Council to co-sponsor a thought-provoking public program titled "Harriet Wilson Project - Our Nig." The discussion will take place on Wednesday, April 25, at 7:00 p.m. at the Blaisdell Memorial Library on Route 152 in Nottingham.  Barbara A. White, Professor of Women’s Studies at UNH, and Mabelle Barnette, a founding member of the Harriet Wilson Project, will facilitate the book discussion, which is free and open to the public.  Copies of the book are available at both libraries to read ahead of time.  Refreshments will be available after the discussion.
