The Friends of the Chesley Memorial Library are starting a new "Adopt a Magazine" program! Why Adopt a Magazine?

Not all reading takes place between the covers of a book.  Some of the most lively, informative, and entertaining writing can be found in magazines!  Best of all, many magazines, with their wide range of subjects and styles, offer reading fare for the whole family.

The library subscribes to magazines for all ages and interests.

Here are some of the reasons magazines are a popular and valuable part of the library collection:

- Magazine features are short.
-Magazines grab your attention
- They?re generally easy to read.
- They?re inexpensive and less costly then most paperbacks.
- They offer variety.
- They often focus on their readers? special interests.
- Magazines also help readers develop new interests.
How to Adopt a Magazine

You can choose the magazine you would like to adopt from the list below.  The library will order the magazine after you make out a check to the Friends of the Northwood Library for the amount due.  The Friends of the Northwood Library is a non-profit 501(c) (3) organization, so your contribution is tax deductible.  For a list of magazines that you can donate to the library please call the library at 942-5472.

Your generosity will benefit you, the library, and the community.
