Once again we see another wonderful summer ending. This summer was an excellent one for the Northwood Recreation Department. Our annual summer camp program was a huge hit with the total number of campers doubling from the past year. We were also able to have swim lessons once again for Northwood residents, and after a year off, the turnout for lessons was excellent. We would like to thank the lifeguards who worked hard to keep the beaches safe for the community throughout the summer. We had no problems and the beaches always looked great. NICE JOB.
The Northwood Recreation Department is growing and we have many things planned for the rest of the year. We are also preparing the land that the town owns for recreation fields. Work has already begun and we are looking for individuals who would be interested in volunteering with this project.
