Minutes of July 21, 2005
Present: Pat Adams, Donna Bunker, Ken Curley, Sean Daigle, Lucy Edwards, Gary Garnett
The meeting was called to order at 6:35 p.m. The June 16, 2005 minutes were reviewed and approved.
The cable committee interviewed Gary Garnett and Sean Daigle for the cable coordinator position.
OLD BUSINESS: There still has not been any response from Metrocast regarding the request for a PEG grant.
NEW BUSINESS: The committee discussed the two applicants for the cable coordinator position. The committee will recommend hiring Gary Garnett for the position. The town will schedule a formal interview with Mr. Garnett.
The committee discussed a complaint received from Tom and Ginger Dole regarding interruptions with Metrocast’s internet service. Ken Curley called Metrocast regarding the issue but has not yet received a response.
The next meeting will be held at the Chesley Memorial Library on Thursday, August 18, at 6:30 p.m.
