The Chesley Memorial Library, the Blaisdell Memorial Library, and the Philbrick-James Library will hold a joint session of the Humanities-to-Go program "Rediscovering Afghanistan: Lessons from the Home" in Nottingham at the Blaisdell Memorial Library on Tuesday, October 27, at 7:00 pm. This program is sponsored by the New Hampshire Humanities Council. Using still photography and film images, historical sources, material artifacts, ethnographies, geopolitical data, and personal anecdotes, Dartmouth Geography and Women and Gender Studies professor Jennifer Fluri and Rubia Inc. founder Rachel Lehr share insights garnered from their extensive experiences of both rural and urban Afghan homes and communities.
