SPECIAL WORKSHOP

Call to Order
Vice Chair Dill called the meeting to order at 6:15

Roll Call
Vice Chair Alden Dill, Selectman Bryer, Selectman Bob Holden, and Town Administrator Paul Martel.

First order of business a Motion was made by Sel. Bryer to nominate Alden Dill as Chairman of the Board of selectmen. No discussion, all voted aye. 3-0

Sel. Dill made a motion to nominate Sel. Bryer as Vice Chair. No discussion. 3-0.

Sel. Bryer made a motion to go into a non-public session.

Roll Call: Sel. Bryer, aye Sel. Holden aye, Sel. Dill aye

Sel. Bryer made a motion to come out of non-public session. Vote 3-0.

Sel. Dill voted to seal the non-public minutes. Vote 3-0.

Sel. Bryer made a motion to execute a contract with David L. Stack for the Town Administrator position effective 3-17-09. The following amendments were made to the original contract as presented by Mr. Stack:

The word “highest” was stricken from Section 5.

Section C related to disability day bank was stricken.

Section 10: the 90 day provision was reduced from 90 days to 60 days. The three month provision was reduced from three months to two months.

Section 13: The first sentence “Employee is expected to work 40 hours per week” was stricken as the position is salaried.

Second by Sel. Dill, Sel. Holden abstained.

Administrator Martel was asked to have Pete Jones set up email addresses for Bob and Dave. Also, check with Sandy G. re the Stipend for Bob Holden.

Sel. Bryer made a motion to adjourn at 7:05. Vote was 3-0.
