The Board of Selectmen is seeking residents, business owners and property owners interested in serving on the newly formed Northwood Economic Development Committee. Business and property owners need not be residents of the Town.

The purpose of the Committee centers on the creation and retention of jobs in the Town of Northwood in order to preserve economic opportunity for households in the town and region and on the expansion of the non-residential taxable property valuation of the Town of Northwood.

Activities undertaken by the Committee will include business education and promotion; informing, educating and acting as a forum for businesses located within Northwood, as well as those businesses looking to locate in the town; and working with existing businesses and local and state government agencies to foster relationships among businesses, residents and regulators of development.
